Ruck The River 2026

Saturday, October 17, 2026

Join Strides For Service and Reps For Responders for our annual Ruck The River, a community ruck dedicated to supporting the physical and mental well-being of our nation's first responders, military members, veterans, and their families.

Whether you're an experienced rucker, a fitness enthusiast, or simply looking to support an incredible cause, Ruck The River is for everyone. Carry a rucksack, weighted vest, backpack or simply come walk alongside us.

This year's course will cover approximately 9 miles, beginning at Rockland Lake State Park and following the scenic Hudson River to Nyack Beach State Park before returning to Rockland Lake.

Not ready for the full distance? No problem. Participants who prefer a shorter challenge may complete approximately 4.5 miles to Nyack Beach, where a shuttle will be available to transport them back to the starting area.

Every registration directly supports the missions of Strides For Service and Reps For Responders, two nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening the physical and mental health of those who serve our communities.

Together, we're building resilience, creating community, and reminding those who dedicate their lives to serving others that they never have to carry the weight alone.
